Samenvatting

Besides alcohol, the influence of various other psychotropic drugs in connection with road traffic safety has been in discussion. While no hard data were available an interrogation was held under 8000 persons. Results show that analogises substances are the most frequently used, while the percentage of sedative drugs and psychopharmaca show less intake frequency in relation to traffic safety. Age, sex, marital status and occupation influence the frequency and mode of drug intake.
