Samenvatting
On the basis of problems relating to accidents on the De Punt- Haren section of Motorway 28, a global analysis of accidents over a seven- year period has been made. On the basis of a number of examples, it is demonstrated that the method by which accident data are currently collected in the Netherlands, as well as the type of data collected, contribute only to a certain degree to the explanation of accidents in terms of human behaviour.
