Samenvatting
The plans for facilities for bicycles need to be based upon a precise insight into bicycle traffic volumes. This paper aims at an enlargement of the insight into fluctuations of daily and hourly bicycle volumes and into their consequences for planning, and the interpretation of especially short observations. The research is focussed on utility flows (commuting and school traffic) on weekdays.
