Research results aimed at developing and demonstrating a model for evaluating mass transit systems are reported. The model is intended to convert the criteria of public acceptance to those of technical design. The results should be useful to those responsible for writing specifications and evaluating proposals and to those responsible for design and optimization of mass transit systems.
