Samenvatting
This paper gives the first results of a more comprehensive research project into the use of scenario development methods by developers of scenario's. It claims that if all scenario developers would apply standard development methods, this would make the task of the users of scenario's easier when judging and comparing the outcomes of scenario's. This means that scenario development should be as transparant as possible. The study does not address the plausibility or correctness of the outcomes of various scenario's. This point is very relevant, since scenario's are seen as mere indicators of likely futures, not predictions of real outcomes. (A)
