Samenvatting
Methods are described which can be used for developing accident protection criteria. Especially, the author recommends treating laboratory crash tests like real life accidents for establishing a stochastic relation between injury severity of car passengers and corresponding dummy loadings. Therefore classification procedures are of interest which allocate the crash test to one of several classes of traffic accidents with different injury severity of the passengers.
