Samenvatting
This paper reports the work of research projects in Europe to investigate methods of evaluating driver assistance systems. The GADGET project assessed the effects of in-vehicle safety devices on traffic safety. The GEM project aimed to survey, review and validate available evaluation methods to assess the effects of in-vehicle driver support systems on driver behaviour.
