Methods of reducing amenity losses caused by traffic roads.

It is feared that traffic improvements must be at the expense of everything else especially the character of the environment, that what is a gain in speed and eas of access must be of necessity a loss in amenity. Some examples are given of urban planning, without a loss of amenity.
