Metrics, motion perception and neural processing in vision.

The paper starts from the doctrine about perception as an end result of a physiological processing of proximal stimulus. It concentrates on discussing adequate principles for description of stimulus for motion on perception which hypothetically should be common for both physiology and psychology. The great advantages for visual perception research gained by changing from the metric to a relational mode are pointed out.
