Samenvatting
This paper examines some inconsistencies which have been found in mini roundabouts & their design. The design standard TD54 is compared to a number of other technical directives in the Design Manual for Roads & Bridges. The inconsistencies discussed affect the content of the standards & a formal review of the standards is suggested. The review should provide designers with flexibility relating to the addition & design of mini roundabouts to improve safety.
