Samenvatting

In this study, a goal program was developed for use in determining how transit services (defined in terms of interzonal travel times) should be modified in order to minimize economic segregation (defined by level of family income). Since the example is an oversimplified one, no firm conclusions can be drawn, but several findings with interesting implications have been identified.
