The present report outlines a minimum common dataset for use in the description of road crashes in Australia. State and Territory road authorities have agreed to work towards the implementation of a minimum dataset in each jurisdiction and its use is recommended to those involved in the analysis of road crash data, such as insurance companies and motoring organisations.
