Samenvatting
The operating deficit in the public transport sector could be reduced by concerted efforts and meticulous manipulation of the fares level and the quality of services. By way of an integrated approach to the planning of fares, services and cost management, it is possible to achieve an optimal allocation of scarce resources within the public transport sector. Such an integrated approach is being presented in the form of a "think" scheme.
