Samenvatting
A study into the impact on mobility of enlargements of schools and spatial concentration of secondary schools, the main issues being travel distances and modal split is reported. The conclusion drawn from the analyses: the average travel distance between school and home have increased, the bicycle mode (dominant mode) has strengthened its share, pupils choose more often for broad-paced combined schools, also suburbanisation led to increasing travel distances.
