Samenvatting
The research undertaken shows the very great difficulty to reduce completely the significance of mobility (i.e. the importance of mobility in the life-style of groups) to its functional aspects: the value for the individual of his total travel pattern in urban space cannot be condensed down to an assessment of conditions of access to a series of predetermined activity locations.
