The purposes of this study were to evaluate the factors that jointly influence the use of a public transportation system and to develop techniques of analysis and prediction that will assist the planning of future transit needs. The factors that may reasonably have important influence on modal choice were analyzed. Statistical frequency distribution functions were fitted to survey data or several factors.
