Samenvatting

It is very essential that we can predict the way in which drivers will use support systems like ADAS that are designed to provide more safety. Behavioural adaptation is the key concept, and this paper presents some ideas - and some empirical material supporting it - on how this could be modelled. These ideas are based on the assumption that utilities of more or less risky driving to the driver are the determining factor in driving behaviour. (Author/publisher)
