Samenvatting

Four experiments concerned with helping behaviour were conducted. Three were addressed to the effects of altruistic models upon helping, while one was concerned with the impact of the solicitor's race upon donations. The presence of a helping model significantly increased helping behaviour. It is concluded that interpersonal attraction is a relevant variable affecting donations.
