Models for description of the time-space distribution of traffic accidents with applications to the analysis of Danish and Swedish experimental data on the effect of speed limits.

The effect of the speed limit on accident statistics in Denmark are studied. The factors taken into consideration were the number of personal injury accidents, types of roads, and width and number of traffic lanes. Mention is made of a similar experiment in Sweden.
