Samenvatting

After a description of "motion" as a combination of six independent movements an explanation is given of the vestibular organ by rotatory and linear accelerations. When the vestibules organ is stimulated to quickly it no longer adapts itself and motion sickness occur. In order to measure the different accelerations to which the body is exposed while on the move, two types of accelerometers were used.
