Samenvatting
Accident statistics in which motorcyclists were involved show an increasing percentage of fatally injured motorcyclists. Causes for this increasing number are a.o. the greater cylinder capacity of the motorcycles, the age of the driver and the use and non-use of a crash helmet. The introduction of a special driving licence is advocal just as a safer design of the motorcycle. Crash helmet use should be mandatory.
