From different studies is shown that the province of Overijssel has a task to increase the traffic safety in the province. A policy is set up to gain the goal of 25% less traffic victims in the year 2000. Specifications are introduced for public transport, moped riders, risky age groups, speed, drunkenness, and the use of crash helmets and safety belts.
