Samenvatting

The survey was carried out by personal household interview among an unbiased sample of 2.000 Canadians who were active drivers of legal drinking age. There were 200 interviews in each province. The sample was also stratified by enumeration area, household, and household member. The results indicate that Canadian drivers are highly concerned about impaired driving although this finding might be somewhat biased by social desirability.
