Samenvatting

The National Roads and Motorists' Association N.R.M.A. is an organisation with over 2 million members and is actively involved in road safety. This paper looks at the means by which the benefits of traffic law enforcement may be more fully realised. It also provided an outline of the more important concerns of the motoring community. The issues addressed relate mainly to police enforcement operations, but also touch on aspects of the criminal justice system including legislation and the administration of justice through the courts.
