Samenvatting
This report is a pilot study for the Nature Compensation Plan to be drawn up for the A50 road link between Eindhoven en Oss (Netherlands, North Brabant province). The study provides building blocks for a coherent programme of possible measures for diminishing the impact of the motorway alternative for the A50 on nature (= mitigation) and, where that is not suffiently feasible possible locally, allowing natureal values to develop elsewhere (= compensation). This pilot study is based mainly on the "Tracénota/MER-A50", an Environmental Assessment on the road link, and the background study for ths EIA. Aspects of environmental protection and landscape conservation have not been considered in this study.
