Samenvatting
Investigations were made into 3 areas of motorcycle design and construction that are considered as susceptible to near-term improvements from a safety viewpoint. These were: (1) protection of the rider against side impact collisions, (2) preventing tyres from leaving the rim, and (3) assessing the strength and reliability of various cables used to control the motorcycle.
