Samenvatting
It is of the utmost importance for road safety research to have reliable exposure data for different categories of road users. In order to obtain information over the mileage of foreign vehicles in the Netherlands, SWOV commissioned a survey at frontier stations in September 1975. The results show that the share of both foreign cars and lorries in the total mileage on Dutch roads lies between 2% and 5%.
