Samenvatting

Combitech, an ITS oriented subsidiary of Saab, and the Swedish Road Administration have during 2005/2006 conducted a feasibility study to investigate the possibilities of reusing some of the results that have come out of the extensive work carried out since the late 1990s in order to come up with new approaches and solutions regarding future military command, controland information systems, known as NEC, Network Enabled Capabilities. Thisis many ways a new approach to ITS, partly based on ideas from NEC. It isknown as Network Enabled ITS (NEITS). For the covering abstract see ITRD E134653.
