Samenvatting
The increasing demands made of visual guidance by carriageway markings and their future role in vehicle control systems means that in future greater value will have to be assigned to the measuring of the optical properties of road markings. Following a discussion of these properties, and a description of measuring systems presently in use, some new measuring methods are presented.
