This book presents the results of recent research carried out in the netherlands on the modelling of travel demand and urban systems. It contains the papers that were presented at the fifth dutch transportation planning research colloquium, held in the hague, 6-7 april, 1978. To a certain extent these papers reflect the main current research efforts in the netherlands in the field of quantitative transportation analysis and its counterpart in spatial planning.
