Samenvatting
The hardware of the present Recommendations for Public Lighting is explained. This consists of the introduction of determination tables regarding a classification of roads in combination with a number of lighting classes. First a road is classified according to characteristics such as profile, width, presence whether or not of level crossings and traffic situation. Then the appropriate lighting class is found, which consists of a combination of data regarding lighting level, uniformity and glare limitation.
