Samenvatting
Marking traffic islands by illuminated yellow bollards proves to be quite expensive, both from a maintenance point of view as well as through the electricity bill. A new marking is proposed- and was installed in Apeldoorn- shich consists of an arrow-sigh plus shield. The pattern of the latter enhances the effect of the arrow-sign. Both items are covered with retroflecting material.
