To analyse the extra profit of a new transportation system, knowledge is needed of the desires of the potential user, and of the quality of the new system compared to the quality of other existing systems. This study consists of two work packages: the `Sample sheet Demand', and the `Sample sheet Supply'. The former contains the desires of the potential user, the latter classifies the (future) traffic supply. The `Sample sheet Demand' shows qualitatively and quantitatively the parts of the market in which a transport system is likely to be used. By means of a literature survey and an analysis of the National Travel Survey (OVG), a table is generated containing the number of trips per demand segment. In the `Sample sheet Supply' a first classification of transportation systems and combinations of transportation systems has been made. The result is an extensive list of possible transportation concepts from door to door, in which the authors focused on the transfer between transportation systems. (A)
