This paper describes the facilities, hardware and procedures employed for testing noise and vibration, such as (1) chassis dynamometer test room, (2) road simulation rig, (3) portable test track instrumentation, (4) body vibration rig, Problems of data volume, reducing test times, and obtaining maximum facility utilization are also discussed.
