Samenvatting

Motorcycle crashes among children and teens are a substantial public health problem. National surveillance for fatal and nonfatal injuries from motorcycle crashes has focused primarily on crashes occurring on public roads; however, this report focuses on injuries associated with off-road motorcycle riding, an increasingly popular recreational activity among youths. Programs and policies directed at reducing the number of injuries from off-road motorcycle riding (e.g., minimum age requirements) need to be strengthened. (Author/publisher)
