Samenvatting
Aspects in the field of traffic engineering infrastructure and financing of bicycle traffic are presented. In different governmental notes on traffic and transport the bicycle traffic was mentioned. Here an integral vision on slow traffic is presented. The governmental tasks herein are its responsibility for a safe traffic and transport policy, its task as road administrator, its policy to improve recreational possibilities, its task to study the way in which cycling and the safety of the cyclist can be improved, and last but not least the financing of bicycle traffic provisions.
