Determining a vehicle safe speed limit is main information for the driverto maintain vehicle's stability and prevent risky situations. Drivers cannot assume exactly their vehicle speed limit in function of outside conditions and vehicle dynamical behavior. That’s why; the main objective of this paper is to develop an assistance system permitting the determination ofa vehicle safe speed limit taking into account the parameters influencingthe vehicle speed. The system developed here is a novel approach that determines the safe speed limit using mathematical speed model which is adjusted by the suitable parameters.
