More than half of the risk for fatal injury can be prevented when motorcyclists wear crash helmet. The best are the integral helmets. From those 21 models are tested, and it is shown that only 9 of them are more or less safe. Still a not too bad helmet is better than no one at all and with a helmet the risk is half of not wearing a helmet.
