Nutzung von Mobiltelefonen beim Radfahren : Prävalenz, Nutzermerkmale und Gefahrenpotentiale

The present research aimed at establishing a broad data base on the use of mobile phones while cycling. In addition to general prevalence, in-depth information on types of usage, motives and characteristics of cyclists using mobile phones were established in order to derive recommendations for (target group specific) road safety measures. Within this research, an observation study (N = 5,382), an online survey (N = 2,844) and road-side interviews with cyclists (N = 309) were carried out.
