Objective measurements of driver-vehicle effort under field conditions and some relationships.

Several objective measures of driver-vehicle effort are discussed. Relationship for observations obtained in the field are presented. Although physiological measures are believed to more informative, measures based on the measurement of driver actions are believed to be more practicable. Possibly, relationships could be established between the two.
