Samenvatting
The purpose of this paper is to give a brief survey of thesimilarities and differences in the ways in which trafficconflict studies are made in different coumtries for use asa backßround for discussion at the 2nd International Work-shop on Traffic Conflicts Technique. The paper summarizesthe main elements of each organisation's operational defi-nition of a traffic conflict and categorises the observa-tion techniques emplayed.
