Occupant /vehicle crash models and data bases maintained by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The paper describes the models in current use at NHTSA, summarizes published applications, and specifies the models and data which are available. A suggestion is made that international cooperation on the development and application of models would further the objectives of the International Experimental Safety Vehicles (ESV) Program, while saving resources for all.
