Samenvatting
At the University of Groningen health risks of city bus drivers have been studied in a comprehensive research programme since 1978. This chapter will concentrate on epidemiological evidence for a presumed work- induced process of gradually deteriorating health. Moreover, the way in which the initial stage of health impairment is reflected in the psychophysiological costs involved in city bus drivers' regular task performance will be demonstrated.
