Samenvatting
A methodology has been developed for relating the safety (collision risk) of the North Atlantic organized Track System in the lateral dimension to the general characteristics of the on-board navigation system, the independent satellite surveillance system and the ATC procedures. Extensions of this methodology to the latitude and vertical dimensions are also discussed and preliminary results are presented.
