This report, contains the objectives of cycle training and education for primary school children. The objectives focus explicitly and exclusively on traffic safety, which was the main aim of the research project. The report gives a general exposition about educational objectives: the functions they fulfil in the process of programme development, the different levels of detail of objectives and the distinction between primary and facilitating secondary objectives. These general principles have been applied to the field of traffic safety education.
