The traffic safety of young persons is also in the Netherlands a big problem. Two main reasons for children for being on the streets is going to school or going from school to home, and playing outside. To these two aspects most attention is given in this report. The safe environment of the school, the safe journey to school, the residential yards and the policy of the government are discussed.
