Samenvatting
The object of this research is to establish the PCU values for articulated and non articulated trucks on signalised intersections under full capacity conditions. The PCU values are calculated using two separate methods. The data was collected using video systems. It appears that following factors have influence on PCU values: construction of truck rear, position of the truck in the cluster, the degree of togetherness, percentage of trucks and used green period.
