Research has been done to the attitudes as regards the different transport modes in recreational traffic, which aspects to this attitudes could be distinguished and how far these aspects correlate with the use of certain transport modes. The transport modes, upon which the study directs attention, are the car, the moped, the bicycle and public transport. Stepwise regression analyses of the relation between behavioural aspects as regards the different transport modes and their use for recreation are made. 78% of the persons interviewed used the car, 8% the bicycle, 4% the bus, 4% the train and 4% the moped.
