A study has been made with the purpose to get an insight into (a) the number of accidents in 1969/1970 in which a moped was involved; (b) the number of kilometres which had been driven on the moped during the whole life and in 1969/1970; (c) the use and the judgement of crash helmets and (d) the personal characteristics of the driver and the moped.
