Samenvatting
A study is made on the school crossing patrols, the "klaarovers" in Belgium. On one hand there is an increased interest, on the other hand there is an opposition by the police or school inspection. Recommendations are presented on the age, clothes, education and selection, insurance and visibility of school crossing patrols. Ideas in Belgium and The Netherlands on school crossing patrols are summarized.
